Phaedre requested a trip for her birthday so we all pooled resources and booked a trip to Maui for a week. Mom, Kim, Talon, Kylen, Phaedre and I made our way to Calgary to overnight. I brought cake for her birthday and, after finding the correct Marriot in the Calgary airport (there are two for some reason) we met up, had dinner, then made our way to our rooms and crashed. Talon visited his Dad before wandering back. After 5 hours of broken sleep we woke up and staggered to the airport for our early am flight.
